Abstract

The problems o f weed management in grain legumes are discussed. The development of weedicide resistance by the common weeds found in the grain legume crops in Australia has acquired serious proportions and increasingly more weedicides are becoming ineffective. It has been demonstrated that changing combination and introduction of new weedicides can markedly reduce weed populations and increase profit margins from the cultivation of grain legumes.
