The article features the environmental disasters in films which mostly visualize the city backdrop. The disasters in science fiction films like "The Day After Tomorrow," "The Core," and "Volcano" emphasize the role of human values. The scientific innovations observed in these films lead to cinematic and literary narratives. These films acknowledge environmental awareness and bond the humankind to nature.
