Abstract
The article provides a critical edition of a memoria, written in Lombard vernacular, by a semi-religious nun from the early fifteenth century. This document, conserved in the Fondo di Religione 2146 (Parte Antica) of the Archivio di Stato di Milano, describes the cultural practices of a new religious order to which Margherita Lambertenghi belonged. The interest of the memoria derives from the different lin- guistic traditions it contains, both at a local and supralocal level, and which emerge more clearly from the linguistic analysis provided.
