Abstract

Schizomus benoiti Lawrence, 1969, from Somalia is redescribed, and the first schizomids to be recorded from Oman and the island of Socotra (Yemen) are described. A new genus, Enigmazomus, is established to accommodate the type species Enigmazomus eruptoclausus n. sp. from Qunf Cave, Oman, and Enigmazomus benoiti (Lawrence, 1969) n. comb, from Somalia. Anepsiozomus harteni n. sp. is described from Wadi Danegan, Socotra; this species is unusual in that the male abdomen is greatly elongated.
