title = "The coexistence of order and chaos in C-major",
abstract = "Fluid dynamics is a chorus of energy interacting at a range of scales. These interactions can evolve into beautiful ordered patterns or chaotic random processes and frequently involves the superposition of both. Through fluid dynamics experiments it is possible to illuminate such patterns and processes. The transition from the ordered laminar state to the chaotic turbulent state remains one of the fundamental areas of fluid dynamics research. Our research focuses on the role that coherent structures play in aggregating and transporting momentum and mass in concert with turbulence which mixes and spreads momentum and mass. We hope that through visualising these complex processes, both optically and sonically, we can expose their beauty for everyone to enjoy.",
