Abstract

The Argan stone arrangement complex of the island of Badu is a series of mainly geometrically shaped stoneformations that together extend for Ikm along an isolated ridge-top in Western Torres Strait. Here we report onarchaeological excavations at this ritual site in a first attempt to historicise Badulgal spiritscapes.
