Superspin projection operators and off-shell higher-spin supermultiplets on Minkowski and anti-de Sitter superspace

Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the construction of (super)spin projection operators on Minkowski and anti-de Sitter (super)space in three and four dimensions. The superprojectors in three-dimensional N-extended Minkowski superspace, with 1 ≤ N ≤ 6, are derived for the first time. These operators are utilised to construct linearised off-shell higher-spin actions describing superconformal and topologically massive theories. The (super)spin projection operators are also computed in four dimensional N=1 anti-de Sitter superspace. It is demonstrated that the poles of such operators are naturally associated with partially massless supermultiplets. Similar results are derived in the case of three-dimensional anti-de Sitter (super)space.
