Abstract

Examination of the law in England, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US relating to whether a defendant should be liable for the suicide of a victim following on from a negligently caused accident - concepts of novus actus interveniens and causation - remoteness of damage issues - possible future directions following on from recent case law.
