Abstract

The crystal structures of 4-alpha,5-alpha- and 4-beta,5-beta-dihydroxyisoeremone (4) and (5), incorporating the bicyclo[2.2.2]octane skeleton, and the bicyclo[3.2.l]octane diol (6) have been determined by X-ray crystallographic methods.
