    Abstract

© 2015 IEEE. This paper proposes a dynamic slope compensation (DSC) scheme to suppress the fast-scale instabilities in a peak current mode (PCM) controlled boost PFC converter. With the proposed DSC scheme the fast-instabilities can be eliminated and the system power factor is improved as well in comparison to the cases without compensation and with the traditional slope compensation. Simulation and experimental results are given to validate the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the proposed DSC scheme.
