Abstract

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. We present experimental results on the application of spin-polarized single- and two-electron spectroscopy in various kinematics for studying W(110) crystal and ferromagnetic films of Co and Fe. Spin effects in the measured spectra are expressed in terms of the asymmetry A defined as A=(I+ - I-)/(I+ + I-), where I+ and I- are spectra measured for two opposite orientations of the polarization vector of the incident beam. It is demonstrated that the asymmetry spectra depend on the kinematics of experiment and can even change the sign of the asymmetry.
