Abstract
There are over 120, mostly brief, papers beginning with a review on the quantitative approach to the rhizosphere and plant nutrition. Some of the other papers discuss different approaches and techniques in the study of plant nutrition, plant nutrients and chemical changes in the rhizosphere. Further papers describe generally physiological and biochemical processes relating to individual nutrients, ions and other plant compounds, as well as the plant and soil distribution of nutrients, and uptake and use efficiency. Some of these contributions are concerned with plant growth processes in general and some with these processes in fields and greenhouse crop species, including the causes and effects of nutrient efficiencies. -J.W.Cooper
