Abstract
Acacia pachyceras O. Schwartz is the only native tree species in Kuwait. This research targeted key information on its seed viability, germination and longevity; in addition to the associated bacterial and fungal communities along with the identification of microbial communities in the soil and rhizosphere effects of local and non-local microbial species under nursery conditions. The thesis provides an overview of seed dormancy, germination requirements and longevity, in addition to indigenous microbial communities associated with the rhizosphere and roots of species in its natural habitat and nursery conditions, followed by
