Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

Marcel Duchamp was cited as the most influential artist in a 2006 survey of art-world figures. He stated that his readymades were possibly his greatest contribution. This booklet shows the readymades to be much more than randomly chosen objects. Duchamp's linguistic strategies are explained clearly and in historical context.
