Abstract
In this work we will present our latest results on using novel cavity designs that couple photons, phonons and spins in solids, including magnon collective spins, paramagnetic spins including rare earths and techniques to generate and measure low loss phonons. We look at the photon-spin and photon-phonon couplings, and how some of the systems can be used to test fundamental physics.
