Abstract

The One Stop Prostate Clinic (OSPC) was a same day prostate cancer assessment and diagnostic clinic at a tertiary public hospital in Western Australia. 1,000 rural and metropolitan men attended the OSPC between August 2011 and November 2017. The aim of this thesis was to examine the clinical outcomes from the OSPC, the preferences and experiences of men who consented to telephone notification of their biopsy results by a Clinical Nurse and the financial impact and resource utilisation of the OSPC in comparison to usual care.
