Abstract
This note discusses a textual problem in Plato Theaetetus 149d3. It argues against previous attempts to solve the textual problem by suggesting that the sentence contains a lacuna rather than merely a textual corruption. It then offers a few textual suggestions for how to fill the lacuna. The piece also contains some discussion of the philosophical context of the line, as well as its debated linguistic features.
