Abstract

The work presented in this thesis provides further insights into the crustal and gold metallogenic evolution of the Archean Yilgarn Craton, with a specific focus on the Gruyere gold deposit and the far-eastern, understudied part of the craton. The outcomes contribute to an enhanced understanding of the interplay between gold mineralisation, crustal evolution, and geodynamic processes during the Archean, and aid in the exploration for valuable mineral resources.
