Abstract

Time limited Gramians based balanced model reduction techniques for discrete time systems are proposed. These techniques address the stability problem of the reduced order models and also yield comparable step response error and error bounds. Different numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness of proposed techniques in the desired time intervals.
