Abstract
In recent years, the power system has undergone a significant transformation, transitioning from a passive to an active power system. However, DERs operate without monitoring or control, placing pressure on generators to ensure the stability of the power system. Additionally, the digitization of power system control, based on unsafe communication systems, increases the complexity of the power system. Consequently, there is an urgent need for a well-designed controller to balance generation and demand effectively. Overall, this thesis aims to design controllers that maintain power system stability despite the challenges posed by modern power system dynamics.
