Abstract
The Lawrence Weiner Poster Archive 1965-2021 was initiated in Halifax in 1971 and relocated to the Vancouver Art Gallery by myself as the founding curator of the Archive in 1991. This essay traces Lawrence Weiner's long association with Vancouver which the artist first visited in 1959 and Halifax which he visited across a decade from 1969.
