Abstract

This project is an exploratory case study of Singaporean food service companies in different stages of internationalisation and the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) that impacted on their operations. To strengthen external validity, industry experts and acquirers of Singaporean food service brands were also interviewed. The study is unique in its use of the NVivo and Leximancer analytic tools to identify key constructs and themes. It found a diversity of issues that impacted on companies in various stages of internationalisation and provided aspiring companies with the CSFs they need to consider and developed a diagnostic tool they can use.
