    Abstract

    Initial performance measurements of a Scott-Russel pre-isolator stage with 400 Kg load capability are presented. Isolation better than 90 dB was obtained around 2 Hz. A Q-factor of similar to 500 was obtained with similar to 30 s resonant period setting and a longest resonant period of 153 s was obtained with Q-factor > 3.
