Abstract

This report details the evaluation of Holyoake’s Indigenous DRUMBEAT Program (Indigenous DRUMBEAT) by a research team from The University of Western Australia (UWA) generated and completed between 2020 and 2022. This report includes a brief background to the original DRUMBEAT Program (DRUMBEAT; Discovering Relationships Using Music, Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes, and Thoughts), development and pilot testing of Indigenous DRUMBEAT in two locations within the Kimberly region of Western Australia (WA), and the evaluation design and methodology, results, strengths and limitations, recommendations and conclusions and future directions
