Abstract
This thesis is a series of eleven published papers which explores the central theme: how to improve dental health and make oral health policy work.
In this context, federal policies for funding dental services were investigated. There are gaps in dental research that can be addressed through the application of e-Health. Besides health policies, there are other factors such as trust, communication and consent that influence dental outcomes and visiting patterns. This will be highlighted in the fields of dental trauma, health law and oral oncology. Based on these investigations, this thesis presents a model for oral health care.
