Abstract

Sleep is a critical aspect of health, functioning, and development. However, children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder often experience sleep disturbances, for example, delayed sleep onset, night awakenings, and bedtime resistance. As such, effective sleep management is vital. Behavioral sleep interventions demonstrate effectiveness in improving sleep outcomes; however, are often delivered in person. To ensure treatment accessibility and health equity, alternative delivery modalities are essential. Therefore, the overarching aim of this thesis was to examine the effectiveness of in-person and telehealth behavioural sleep interventions and explore relevant individual differences, including comorbid conditions and parent-child attachment, to inform clinical care.
