Abstract

Studies on general movement assessments (GMs) have included small numbers of extremely preterm (EP) in-fants. We determined the GMs and motor optimality score (MOS) of 40 EP infants. Poor repertoire at writhing age normalising to fidgety movements was the most common finding. MOS was lower than for published term infants.
