Abstract

The two contributions in this UWA PPI Policy Matters (Provocation) publication stem from the Policy Taboos Seminar Series co-convened by the UWA Public Policy Institute and the Forrest Research Foundation. The Policy Taboo Series seeks to explore challenging, contentious and controversial policy issues facing society. This is normally achieved via a panel discussion whereby invited academic and policy experts each deliver a short 5-6 minute provocation on the taboo topic under scrutiny, followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A session.
