Abstract

In 2014 the Bunbury City Brass Band celebrated its 110 year anniversary. In response, the Band and the Bunbury City Council decided to hold an International Composition Contest. The competition attracted works from around the world. The initial entrance pool was reduced to 8 finalists. All of these works were presented for the first time on August 8th, 2014, in a concert played by RASWA Brass and conducted by Dr. Alan Lourens.
