Fiber-laser frequency comb: An explanation for the offset frequency linewidth

Abstract

Fiber laser-based frequency combs typically exhibit broad optical linewidths in the wings of the frequency comb, We find these broadened linewidths originate from white amplitude noise on the pump laser.___________
