Abstract
Protein engineering offers the potential to transform the pharmaceutical landscape through the development of biologically relevant drug systems. However controlling protein folding and delivery of therapeutic protein has been a major bottleneck. This PhD thesis describes approaches to dynamically control protein folding. deliver therapeutic proteins and study protein-DNA interactions using novel secondary DNA structures.
