Abstract

In the University of Western Australia Library, the Scholars' Centre provides services to academic staff and postgraduate students in the arts and social sciences. One of the Centre's major tasks is promotion of, and instruction in, the Internet and its huge range of resources and services. Various methods are used to do this, but the emphasis is on personal and individualized training and support. These services are provided within an integrated, client-centred framework.
