Abstract
This issue contains a number of articles inspired by the 14th Biennial
Conference of ANZTSR, held in November 2018 with t he theme
‘Enabling Positive Impact: Philanthropy, Accountability and Good
Governance in the Third Sector’, along with several further pieces
that are congruent with that theme. The theme raises vital questions
about when philanthropic and charitable activity promote public, rather
than private, benefit.
