Abstract
The present Congolese political scene resembles a zero-sum game. No one believes that the planned presidential and legislative elections will be held before the end of 2016. Most especially, no one is trying to predict what will happen from now until 27 November, the proposed date set for the presidential election. From Kinshasa to Goma, from Kisangani to Lubumbashi, it is “one minute to midnight”, just time enough for the hurling insults to give place to discussion and save DRC from sinking into chaos.
