Abstract

This report summarises the discussions of a 2-day workshop held by CBPATSISP and TIMHWB in May 2025 on the needs of SEWB workers and the development of a SEWB Workforce Training Program. SEWB workers from Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations from across Australia such as Kimberly Aboriginal Medical Services and Langford Aboriginal Association in Western Australia, Danila Dilba Health Services in Northern Territory and mainstream organisations such as Darling Downs Health in Queensland attended the workshop. Representatives from key SEWB leadership partners like National Aboriginal Community Control Health Organisation, East Metropolitan Health Service in Boorloo Perth, and Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia were also present at the workshop.
