Abstract

The Unified Technology Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model has been widely used as a technology acceptance framework since its introduction in 2003. This research used the UTAUT to examine determinants of an online assessment system in one Singapore technical college. Potential determinants examined were lecturers' performance expectancy; social influence and attitude; the organization's facilitating conditions; and the online assessment system’s usability and learnability. Results indicated that lecturers' attitudes and social influence; the organization's facilitating conditions, and system learnability were significant determinants. Lecturers' attitudes also emerged as a significant mediator of relationships among the various determinants.
