Purpose: To provide the functionality to map the structure and data of a curriculum from the program level through to individual learning events and assessments over the duration of the program.

Abstract
In the simplest terms, a curriculum is a description of what, why, how and how well students should learn in a systematic and intentional way. A curriculum will consist of various components such as educational strategies, course content, learning outcomes and assessments organised in a relational structure. Mapping of these components is important to ensure the educational alignment, coherence and integrity for an effective and efficient curriculum. This includes identifying and addressing potential gaps and redundancies and ensuring alignment with the educational standards and policies of the institution, accrediting body and or other educational frameworks.
Curriculum Mapper is a web-based application developed at The University of Western Australia (UWA). It has been used to visualise a multidimensional model of curriculum for the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Optometry and Master of Pharmacy programs at UWA for all stakeholders. This presentation would provide an example of how Curriculum Mapper was used to design a complete, transparent and detailed curriculum mapping in higher education.
