Abstract

Two quantum communication protocols in the continuous variable regime are studied using a stable source of continuous variable Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) entanglement generated from a pair of optical parametric amplifiers. Demonstration of quantum teleportation of the quadrature amplitude information of a light field and realization of a (2,3) threshold QSS (quantum secret sharing) scheme using an EPR entanglement, optical interferometers and an electro-optic feedforward loop are reported.
