Complementary Michelson-Morley experiments: Coordinate and field redefinitions

Abstract

We illustrate the role of coordinate and field redefinitions in complementary Michelson-Morley experiments that determine separate limits on Lorentz violation in the photon and electron sector. We present a simplified but explicit model of how the electron (or photon) terms can be moved to the proton sector.
