Abstract
Founded in 1901, the Cobargo Co-operative Society Ltd. (CCS) is a community-owned enterprise that originated as a dairy (butter) producer co-operative but evolved into a consumer co-operative servicing the needs of the regional community of Cobargo. In 2020, the co-operative had around 1,200 active members, and an annual turnover of around $4.1 million.
