Abstract
We present the clinical history of a 63-year old male patient, suffering from primary central nervous lymphoma, the most frequent brain tumor in patients with acquired or congenital immunodeficiency. The complex differential diagnosis in an immunocompromised patient presenting with neurological symptoms is reviewed. Magnetic resonance imaging is the most powerful non-invasive diagnostic tool to characterize these brain lesions. Still, brain biopsy remains imperative to establish the definitive diagnosis.
