Abstract

This work presents some progress in thermal noise measurements of quartz Bulk Acoustic Wave resonators. A simple system based on low-noise broadband operational amplifiers demonstrates the ability to detect thermal noise of state-of-the-art BVA quartz resonator both at room and cryogenic temperatures. © 2014 IEEE.
