Abstract

The impact of hearing loss extends far beyond auditory challenges. It profoundly affects social interactions and well-being. Our recent paper, Social Coaching: Applying Keyes' Model of Social Wellbeing to Audiological Support for Older Adults with Hearing Loss, published in The International Journal of Audiology, explores how hearing care professionals (HCPs) can integrate social coaching into their practice to improve the social well-being of older adults with hearing loss 1.
