Research Significance
Brisbane based Circus Company Circa collaborates with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra to create a show based around French Baroque music.
Research Contribution
Paul Dyer creates an original Pastiche of French Baroque music to be played on original instruments to accompany a circus performance. Musicians are also lightly involved in the choreography, carrying out simple staging actions whilst playing and singing. This is the first ever collaboration in Australia between a period orchestra and circus troupe.
