Architectural Tempo: Photography Exhibition

Research output: Non-traditional research outputExhibition

Abstract

Extract from Exhibition:
The images in this exhibition document glimpses of extraordinary modern and traditional architecture ad urban spaces in India, from Kolkata to Trivandrum. Led by signs of human occupation, they reveal movement, patterns, texture, light, found objects, neglected architectural details and spaces. Daily activities are superimposed into the viewer's eyes, as architecture becomes a background in motion, where subject and object cannot be disconnected, and are reinforced by positioning and tempo. The presented photographs were taken during a sabbatical project in India, 2007.
