In this chapter, we describe three methods to analyse the accumulation, splicing, editing and processing of plant mitochondrial transcript expression: a classical RT-qPCR assay, an RNA-Seq approach with its bioinformatical and statistical analysis pipeline, as well as a useful complementary technique, the Northern-blot analysis, using short biotinylated oligonucleotides as probes.",
