Abstract

We review some of the key developments in mathematics and statistics over the last half-century concerning researchers either based in, or originating from, Western Australia. We describe the whole range of mathematical sciences from the work in the most abstract and theoretical aspects of pure mathematics through to the most applied area of statistics. © Royal Society of Western Australia 2014.
