Abstract
This report deals with access to social security for migrant workers from Africa, including portability of social security benefits. It focuses in particular on the improvement of current regimes in this regard and addresses this issue at the levels of continental and sub-regional (RECs), but also national initiatives and interventions. African workers migrating to Gulf States and to Europe are both covered, in addition to those who migrate within Africa.
