Abstract

Academic Quality and Integrity in the New Higher Education Digital Environment: A Global Perspective examines the lessons learnt by the academic fraternity. The three editors have significant experience in the quality assurance of teaching and learning, and have captured strategies and approaches utilised during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussions on learning and teaching during the pandemic were concentrated on how academic institutions ensure the quality of courses and the maintenance of academic integrity in assessments in a digital environment. The approaches developed enable those delivering educational programs to ensure what is delivered meets global standards so that professional bodies can have confidence in programs delivered by the higher education sector. The book provides a valuable tool for academics and management of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), teachers and administrators in HEIs globally, as well as providing an essential reader in graduate certificate programs on higher education teaching.
