    Abstract

    © 2014 IEEE. This brief proposes a universal mutator for transformations among memristor, memcapacitor, and meminductor by making use of only three off-the-shelf active devices. The mathematical relations among circuit variables before and after transformation are analyzed in terms of the connection combinations of five circuit elements. The experimental analysis of the transformed elements is discussed to further confirm the validation of this newly proposed transformation mutator. The good agreement between experimental and theoretical analyses verifies the practicability and flexibility of this mutator in realizing all six cases of transformations.
